At Kingston Cattery, we do more than provide pet care - we care about your pet just as we care about our own. Not only are we animal lovers, but we also have the experience to provide the highest quality of services.
That's why it's really important that any animals coming to stay with us are kept up to date with all their vaccinations and health checks

CONDITIONS OF BOARDING AT
KINGSTON CATTERY

Before your cat is accepted into the Cattery, the following conditions MUST be met:

  • All prior and current medical conditions must be declared to Kingston Cattery before board commences

  • Cats must NOT be showing any signs of illness: sneezing, runny eyes or sickness & Diarrhoea

  • Cats must be NEUTERED (unless less than 6 months old)

  • Cats must have an UP TO DATE Vaccinations

  • Have regular treatment for the prevention of FLEAS

  • Have regular treatment for the prevention of WORMS

VACCINATIONS NEEDED AT KINGSTON CATTERY

A current up to date vaccination certificate showing your cats vaccination history must be produced on arrival at the cattery.
All Cats must be vaccinated for the following Core Vaccinations:

  • Feline Panleukopenia FPV (enteritis)

  • Feline Herpesvirus FHV (cat flu)

  • Feline Calicivirus FCV (cat flu)

Cats will NOT be accepted for boarding without evidence of the above been completed and kept up to date. 
Vaccinations and Boosters are needed annually for ongoing protection. It's is important that these are done at least 7 days before entry into the Cattery. This is to ensure that there are no adverse reactions to the booster and more importantly, the booster has had chance to take effect.

PLEASE TELL US ABOUT YOUR PET'S MEDICAL HISTORY BEFORE COMING TO KINGSTON CATTERY

All cats will be given a quick visual examination before being shown to their accommodation to ensure they are in good health.

Cats must not be suffering from, or suspected to be suffering from, any infectious or contagious disease, such as:- 

  • Sneezing

  • Runny Eyes

  • Ear Mite

  • Sickness & Diarrhoea

Kingston Cattery reserves the right to refuse board to cats it considers at risk itself, or a risk to other boarders.

It is really important that you tell us everything about your cat's health because if anything does happen and we have to call a vet it is vital for the cat's safety that we give the vet ALL the necessary information. 

So please let us know everything you can think of and especially if you have been to the vet within the last two weeks

MEDICATION & SPECIAL ATTENTION AT KINGSTON CATTERY

Kingston Cattery was created for one single reason - to provide all pets and pet parents the services, care and support they need and deserve.
So, we are really happy to administer medications such as tablets or eye/ear drops. All we ask is that you tell us beforehand. Medication should be provided in their original packaging clearly stating the dosage and administration instructions.
For elderly & disabled cats 
we have adapted facilities to provide boarding as well as for deaf and blind cats. Please discuss your cats health with us if you have any concerns. We are always happy to advise on how best we can serve your cat during their stay.
