Cancelling a booking will result in a loss of deposit.

Vaccination Policy

All cats must have a certificate of vaccination, valid at the time of boarding.

This must be provided every time you board your cat/s with us.

No cat/s will be accepted without a valid vaccination certificate.

The primary vaccination must have been given no less than 14 days, and the booster vaccination no less than 3 days prior to boarding.

All cats must be treated with preventative flea and worm treatments (as recommended by your vet). Cat/s treatment must be up to date before boarding, and we may ask for proof of this.

Feeding

The cattery provides Felix and Whiskas cat/kitten wet food, and Whiskas cat/kitten biscuits.

If your cat has special dietary needs or prefers a brand not listed above, please bring enough of their usual food to last for the duration of their stay. If their food runs out, we can feed them Felix or Whiskas, but we will always let you know before we do this.

If we need to buy alternate food for your cat during their stay, this will be charged at cost price and invoiced for payment.

If your cat/s require more than 2 pouches of wet food per day, there will be an extra charge to cover the additional food. These are charged at £0.50p per pouch.

We provide a variety of treats.

Medication

If your cat requires any medication, please advise on the relevant booking forms, ensuring clear instructions on administering.

Oral medication can be administered to your cat, provided they display non-aggressive behaviour.

We CANNOT administer injections.

Please provide enough medication for your cat’s stay, as we do not keep spare medication or treatments. Where possible, include a little extra, such as more tablets than the exact amount needed, in case you are delayed or a dose is not accepted the first time.

Vet Fees

Kingston Cattery’s primary vet is Avonvale Veterinary Centre in Southam. Avonvale also has centers in Wellesbourne and Warwick, which we may use if your cat requires more advanced care.

If we believe your cat needs veterinary attention while boarding with us, we will consult our vets. You will be responsible for any veterinary costs incurred during boarding, including any transport arranged by the cattery. These charges are payable on collection.
